Takoyaki
|
|
setelah 2 tahun kembali daripada jepun, emmm masa bulan puasa ari tu teringat sangat2 dengan takoyaki ni. habis ler satu KL kami jelajah nak cari tepung takoyaki, tapi hampeh. penat sangat2 kaki ni meredah satu supermarket ke satu supermarket yang ada kena mengena dengan jepun.
last2, ku godak2 internet, dapatlah resepi nya. boleh gunakan tepung biasa, tapi kena pakai dashi stok. since masa tu tak jumpa katsuo (dried bonito flakes) tu, ku gantikan dashi stok tu dengan kiub ikan bilis. emmm seronok anak2 tak terkira. tak cukup ........ nak lagi. biarpun texture tepung yg digunakan rasanya tak sama, tapi cukuplah untuk mengubat rindu.
ari ni jalan2 jusco, jumpa plak bonito flakes, terus ler sambar hehehhe .... bila nak buat tak tahu lagi, tengoklah kalau ada kudrat hehhe, kesian ngah asyik dok minta takoyaki aja.
the following recipe, daripada internet, nak try sebab review nya bagi full star gitu.
| Quote: | Tako means octopus in Japanese, and takoyaki are known as octopus balls. Takoyaki venders are very popular in Japan. To make takoyaki, a grill pan for takoyaki is used. The pan has many small cups to pour the batter.
Ingredients:
1 2/3 cup flour
2 1/2 cup dashi soup
2 eggs
1/2 lb. boiled octopus, cut into bite-size pieces (ku pakai sotong biasa aja)
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/4 cup dried sakura ebi (red shrimp)
1/4 cup chopped pickled red ginger (yang ni ku tak pakai)
*For toppings:
katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes)
aonori (green seaweed powder) --> tak ada yang ni so ku pakai nori biasa yang dicarik halus
Worcestershire sauce or takoyaki sauce (ku buat sendiri, godak2 sos tiram, kicap, sos tomato & sos cili)
mayonnaise (semestinya kewpee ..... sedapppppp)
Preparation:
Mix flour, dashi soup, and eggs in a bowl to make batter. Thickness of the batter should be like potage soup. Put oil inside cups of a takoyaki grill pan. Pour batter into the cups to the full. Put octopus, red ginger, and green onion in each hole. Grill takoyaki balls, turning with a pick. When takoyaki become rounds and brown, remove them from the pan and place in a plate. Put sauce and mayonnaise on takoyaki and sprinkle bonito flakes and aonori on the top.
*makes 4 servings |
