Sports Day, a big event for school children, they had been practising for about a month already for today's perfomance. Loud applause for them . Scheduled to be held on 1st Oct (Sunday), but it was raining, hence was brought forward to the next day .... not as many parents could attend coz Monday was a working day. Same thing for us, ayah just attended for a short while in the morning coz he got class in the afternoon. A tiring day yet so much fun, seeing them working together, everything went smoothly as planned.

Ikan Terubuk Asam Pedas


Before coming to Nihon, I never cook this (tau makan saja, apa lagi beli kat kedai ler ), but since "keadaan yang terpaksa or memaksa" ... have to do it .... surf the net for recipe, but I alter it according to my taste heheeh.

Kuih Lompat Tikam


Time posa aja, teringatkan kuih2 tradisi ni ..... rindunya la nak berpuasa n raya kat kg. Dulu2 pun selalu beli kuih ni kat "market" ... so skg ni pandai2 sendiri lah, jumpa this recipe ... sonang sbb semuanya in the pot, sbb saya ni malas nak kukus hehehhe.

Bahan-bahan lapisan hijau A:


1 cawan tepung beras
3 cawan santan cair
1/2 cawan air daun pandan
1/2 sudu kecil garam
1 sudu kecil air kapur

Bahan-bahan lapisan putih B:


1/2 cawan tepung beras
4 cawan santan
1/4 sudu kecil garam

Bahan-bahan kuah C:


1-2 keping gula melaka
2 cawan air
2 helai daun pandan } disimpul

Cara membuat bahan A:


Gaul rata semua bahan A dalam mangkuk dan tapis.
Kemudian masukkan adunan ini ke dalam periuk dan kacau atas api yang sederhana,
Kacau sehingga mendidih menggunakan whisk telur.
Apabila adunan menjadi pekat dan berkilat masukkan kedlm bekas dan sejukkan.dlm petisejuk

Cara membuat bahan B:


Gaul rata semua bahan B dalam mangkuk dan tapis.
Kemudian tuang adunan dalam periuk dan kacau atas api sederhana
Kacau sehingga mendidih menggunakan whisk telur (lebih kurang 15-20 min) kalau nak lembek sket dr gambo kacau 10 min aje
Apabila adunan menjadi pekat dan berkilat masukkan kedlm bekas dan sejukkan dalam peti sejuk.

Cara membuat bahan C:


Masak gula melaka dengan air hingga hancur dan mendidih bersama2 daun pandan
Tapis dan sejukkan dalam peti sejuk.

Cara menghidangkan:


Potong lapisan hijau kedlm mangkuk kemudian ceduk lapisan putih ke atas lapisan hijau
Siram dgn kuah gula melaka
Sedia utk dimakan


This recipe is from noorma.tk ..... as usual I alter it a little bit here and there, I add in "pulut merah" sbb kalau di kelantan, lompat tikamnya memang ada pulut merah
